Tight Feet in Cerebral Palsy: A Gentle Fascia Approach
Parents often tell me one of their biggest worries is how stiff and tense their child’s feet feel. Sometimes the feet point down, sometimes the toes curl, and often it seems impossible to help them relax. This tension in the feet is common in cerebral palsy, and while it can feel discouraging, there are gentle ways to support your child.
In this new video class, I share why tightness in the feet happens and how we can approach it through fascia therapy. You’ll discover:
The role of fascia in connecting the feet to the rest of the body
Why tightness is not just a “muscle problem” but a stability strategy the body uses
Gentle ideas to encourage micro-movements in the feet without stretching or force
How small shifts in the feet can create changes in posture, balance, and overall calm
This lesson is designed for parents. You don’t need special equipment or training—just curiosity and a willingness to try small steps. My goal is to help you see the feet not as a problem, but as an opportunity to bring more freedom and support into your child’s daily life.
